We are a free and confidential NHS Talking Therapies service offering mental health support to anyone over 17.5 years old, living in the Kent and Medway area. You are not alone, we are here to help you feel like yourself again.

What are talking therapies?

Talking therapies are designed to help with common mental health problems such as stress, anxiety and depression. There are lots of different types of talking therapies, but they all involve working with a trained therapist.

How we work

  1. Referral

    You can refer yourself or ask your GP or another healthcare professional to refer you, whichever works best for you.

  2. Consultation

    Once we receive your referral, one of our friendly team members will review it and get in touch to arrange a telephone assessment.

  3. Therapy

    After your assessment, we'll recommend the support that's right for you and help you get started with a service that best meets your needs.

How do I know if I need talking therapy?

If you are feeling, overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, sad, or lonely it’s important to access our services as soon as you can.

Is the service free?

Yes, this is a free and confidential service that is commissioned and funded by the NHS.

How do I access a service?

You can self-refer to our talking therapies service by calling, texting or filling out our online form. Or you can go to your GP or other health care provider and ask them to refer you directly to us.

What if I need help now?

We are unable to provide crisis support or therapeutic advice via email. If you need help for a mental health crisis or emergency, you should get immediate expert advice and assessment.

Submit a self-referral by using our digital assistant pop-up, you will be guided through some questions which will take approximately 6 minutes.

This is the fastest way to access support.

You can call us on 0333 091 0414 to start your referral, we will then be in touch to arrange an assessment.

Our phone lines are open Monday to Thursday 8am – 8pm and Friday 8am – 5pm.
