Boosting your Mental Wellbeing with Silvercloud

Online therapy programmes that are proven to work

If you’re looking for free therapy online, SilverCloud® mental health programmes are completely free to you, and they have already helped over 1 million people to feel better. In fact, most patients showed improvements in just three months. And don’t worry, if you’re on the waiting list for in-person therapy, signing up for a SilverCloud programme does not mean that you’ll lose your place.

Programmes we offer

At Kent and Medway talking therapies, we’re happy to be able to offer two different Silvercloud online therapy programme options. These are:

Supported step 2 programmes

On a supported programme, you will have a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) assigned to you who will regularly check in with you to review your progress. Your PWP will check in with you firstly by phone, and then online throughout the remainder of your programme. Your progress is reviewed as you go.

How does SilverCloud work?

If a PWP feels you are suitable for free therapy online via a SilverCloud online therapy programme, they will send you a direct link which you can then use to create your account free of charge.

After you’ve signed up, you’ll be assigned a supporter who will check in with you each week if you are on a supported programme. They will help you to set goals and apply SilverCloud support to your life.

SilverCloud programmes are easy to use, confidential, and can be accessed anywhere via a smartphone, tablet or computer.

Each module comes with its own tools and coping mechanisms, tailored to your individual mental health goals.

Please note that SilverCloud is not suitable for everyone.

How do I access SilverCloud?

What should I do if I’m not finding the programmes helpful?

If you feel that your treatment isn’t working for any reason, the best course of action is to talk to your therapist. We’d rather you share your concerns with us than disengage from treatment and miss out on the support you need.

Your therapist can address your concerns and explore other options for support. We offer a variety of therapy formats and want to ensure we’re providing the most effective and appropriate support for you.

When online therapy isn’t suitable

Online therapy cannot offer the level of support you may need if you’re feeling unable to cope or keep yourself safe.
